At Least 10 Tu-95 Missile Planes Airborne toward Ukraine

At least ten Russian Tu-95 missile-carrier planes have taken off from bases inside Russia, heading toward Launch Areas typically used when attacking Ukraine.

The Tu-95МС strategic missile carrier (NATO codification: Bear) was developed as a carrier of long-range strategic air-launched cruise missiles.

The aircraft is a modified version of Tu-95. It is the world's fastest production turboprop missile carrier aircraft; one of the components of the Russian nuclear triad.

As of 7:00 PM EDT, at least ten (10) of these aircraft have taken off from bases inside Russia.  Together the ten planes have a combined capacity of sixty (60) cruise missiles of either Kh-55 or Kh-101.
