China has cut-off its export of gunpowder and cotton nitro-cellulose from all European Countries. As such, European arms manufacturers cannot readily manufacture gunpowder anymore!
China constitutes about twenty-five percent (25%) of world gunpowder exports, so the Europeans certainly will be able to get **some** but not nearly what they will need if they are planning war with Russia.
Moreover, getting the gunpowder is not nearly as important as getting the cotton.
While gunpowder is necessary for small-arms ammunition, nitro-cellulose is what is needed for artillery shells.
Chemically-treated cotton fibers, which become nitro-cellulose, act as a propellant, and that is what is needed for the extended range artillery shells. No nitro-cellulose means no artillery shelling because regular gunpowder just won't provide the necessary distance.
The bluster coming out of Europe about them "expanding their military manufacturing capability" and moving to a "war economy" isn't going anywhere if they can't get gunpowder or cotton for nitro-cellulose -- and right now, they can't.
All this as Europe continues to "poke the (Russian) Bear" over Ukraine.
I tell you, it's as though Europe is literally TRYING to commit continental suicide by provoking Russia.
