Volodymyr Zelensky is being told by Trump Administration officials it is time for him to flee Ukraine.
Turns out, Zelensky lied to Secretary Rubio and Vice President Vance right before he publicly attacked President Trump and the American taxpayers.
Zelensky signed the very law that prohibits him from negotiating with Putin.
It was no secret that the new, incoming Trump Administration would have to deal with the harsh realities of Ukraine losing to Russia. Anyone who has been a real observer of the Ukraine situation has known -from before the war started - Ukraine has no chance. What no one saw coming was how untrustworthy and manipulative Zelensky turned out to be.
Now, he's caught.
The Ukraine situation is collapsing around Zelensky and word in the corridors of power in Washington is that "nothing can save it now."
EUROPE TO THE RESCUE?
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron are scheduled to make an "urgent" visit to the US next week, allegedly to propose European troops inside Ukraine as a sort of "peace keeping" or "reassurance" force.
The U.S. sees this as an effort to get the US involved and then use "mission creep" to eventually get the US into direct combat. Starmer and Macron will likely be told a stern "no" and be sent packing.
