The price of crude oil is rising Wednesday as the US Mass-media is warning "Iran attack upon Israel Deemed Imminent."
Bloomberg Business News blares "major missile or drone strikes by Iran or its proxies against military and government targets in Israel are imminent."

So, in the past 5 days, Israeli and US officials have shifted their assessments of when Iran will retaliate for the Israeli bombing of Iran's Embassy compound in Damascus, from last Friday, to today, and now to this Friday or later. Pretty embarrassing, but the question is, for who? Either the intelligence is repeatedly faulty, or Iran is stalling for time.
Foreign diplomatic missions are already preparing for the potential strikes, making contingency plans for evacuation amid requests from Israeli authorities about emergency supplies like generators and satellite phones, one Diplomatic source has told the Hal Turner Radio Show.
Unconfirmed reports claim Israel warned Iran that any attack could lead to Israeli strikes on multiple Iranian sites and the end of Iran's nuclear program. But the Iranians were already keenly aware of this, and have reportedly factored-in a major Israeli response to whatever ongoing plans Iran may have.
The Iranians know that Israel has been pushing for global military action against its ongoing nuclear program. The Israelis have been screeching about it for years. Now, Israel sees that no other nations are going to hit Iran and so the Israelis have to do it themselves. THIS was the real reason that Israel hit the Iranian Embassy Compound in Damascus . . .
Israel finally figured out that Iran would never respond to Israeli attacks upon Iranian troops and equipment inside Syria, which Israel has done for the past two years or so. Israel realized in order to provoke a response, it had to hit Iran sovereign territory. But an overt attack into Iran proper would have been seen by the world as a deliberate provocation.
So the Israelis hit a meeting of high-ranking Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps members inside the Iran embassy compound in Syria, knowing full well the Embassy compound is, in fact, Iran Sovereign Territory. Israel WANTS an Iranian response to use an an excuse to go after Iran directly, and take out its nuclear program.
The Embassy hit and all the rhetoric back and forth, is theater. What Israel wants is Iran to attack it, so Israel can go into Iran proper and - theoretically - wipe out the Iran nuclear program.
Israel should have been more careful in its thinking. Things may not work out nearly as neatly as they presume. Iran knows what Israel is thinking, planning, and will attempt to do.
This prompted an Iranian Member of Parliament to say this afternoon "If Israel strikes Iran's nuclear facilities then we will strike Israel's Dimona nuclear facility in 400 seconds."
It is already widely known that If Iran fires several hundred missiles into Israel, the Iron Dome system, the David's Sling system, and the Arrow missile defense system will be overloaded and may be destroyed by missiles fired at the end of the barrage. After that, even more Iranian missiles would then be able get through the air defenses and hit high-value targets inside Israel.
Perhaps that is why, when Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei promised retaliation against Israel during a speech today, a TV camera shifted to Iran's missile force Commander who just smiled . . . video in the social media below:

Iran now has a supply of highly enriched uranium that could be converted to weapons-grade fuel for at least three bombs in a time frame ranging from a few days to a few weeks. A US official says “they are dancing right up to the edge." according to the Washington Post newspaper.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, said today "Anyone who tries to attack us will encounter strong defense - and immediately thereafter, a powerful response on their territory."
In addition, Member of the Israeli War Council, Benny Gantz said this afternoon: "The war against Hamas will continue, and our soldiers will fight in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon."
Instead of rethinking its policy of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians, Israel’s answer to Iran’s ultimatum was to up-the-rhetoric; trot out a “new” weapon (that’s actually not new at all) the EMP bomb — and threaten Tehran.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called Turkey’s Foreign Minister Fidan tonight, amid reports that a major Iranian missile and drones strikes against military and government targets in Israel are imminent.
