Electric Sub-Station Fire SHUTS Heathrow Airport, London

Electric Sub-Station Fire SHUTS Heathrow Airport, London

All airplane flights in to and out of London's Heathrow Airport have been cancelled after an electrical sub-station nearby burst into flames, cutting electric power.

Counterterrorism police have been called in - examining the possibility of sabotage.

There are fears of active Russian sabotage operations in the UK and elsewhere in Europe amid Moscow's war in Ukraine.

Of course sometimes an electrical fire is just that.  Paranoia strikes deep.
