SUSPICIOUS VIDEO
Below is a video being circulated via social media attached to postings about the firefight between the Houthis and a US Warship. THIS VIDEO HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED AND MAY NOT BE TODAY'S INCCIDENT AT ALL.
Since so many social media outlets are running with this video, I pass it along to you with the caution that IT IS NOT VERIFIED as being today's incident, and as yet, I have no way of verifying the burning vessel is (or is not) a US warship.
With those warnings, and the advance notice that this video is SUSPICIOUS, here is the video:
UPDATE 4:26 PM EST --
Very confusing and contradictory statements now emanating from the Middle East.
Mass-media in Israel is reporting there was, in fact, an "attack" against a US warship.
SOURCES are now saying the Houthis fired two cruise missiles at an American warship, BUT THE MISSILES MISSED.
Other sources, allegedly speaking for the Houthis are saying " We deny occurrence of any clashes with an American warship in the Red Sea"
Yet other sources, purporting to speak for the Houthis, are saying ""Our Yemeni armed forces carried out the first direct attack operation against an American battleship off the Yemeni coast in the Red Sea in response to America’s targeting of our armed forces last Sunday. There is significant damage to the American naval battleship, and there will be more operations in the coming hours. Stay tuned for an important statement"
It's all very confused right now. No one seems to be revealing any verifiable information. Very dis-jointed, and ALL OF IT of questionable accuracy.
