Moscow theater terrorists who killed 139 people and injured almost 200 others received their financial backing from Ukraine according to the ongoing investigation. These funds and the funding mechanism could mean the US was involved.
Russia says they have arrested a suspect "involved in financing" the horrific attack that took place in Moscow last week.
The Russian Investigative Committee announced this afternoon that the suspects in last week’s attack were linked to Ukrainian nationalists, and had received “significant sums of money” from Ukraine.
Investigators have obtained “substantiated evidence” that the perpetrators of the attack received funding from Ukraine in the form of cryptocurrency, which was then used to prepare the attack.
