Russian General, Yaroslav Moskalyk was killed today when a car bomb went off near his home in Moscow.

He was Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

UPDATE 2:35 PM EDT --

A Ukrainian-born terrorist rented an apartment in the same housing complex, tracked his neighbor (the General)'s routine for a month, and left a car full of VOG-17 grenades at the entrance.   When the General walked near the car, the Ukrainian detonated the grenades, presumably remotely.
