Saturday NIGHT 7:00 PM: Woke Up with Sore Throat; Now 99.5 Degrees . . .

I came up here last Saturday, felt fine.  On Tuesday, I felt tired during the day, took a longer nap than usual. Wednesday, I was __really__ tired, slept four+ hours in afternoon, had a brief cough and some congestion in my lungs.

Last night when I got off the air, my voice was raspy.  Water didn't help.

This morning, I woke up with a sore throat.  No, not from snoring.  I also feel tired.

This afternoon, I'm at my desk and I feel cold.  I look at the thermostat, it's up at 73 . . . there's no reason at all for me to feel cold . . . . unless . . . .  I took my temperature: 99.5.   Low grade fever, especially because I generally run cool, in the 97 degree range.

Exact same sequence of events I had a couple months ago, starting all over again.

Now, I take Vitamin D3, and Vitamin K2.  I take Zinc and Quercetin.  I take Co-Enzyme Q-10.   I take a CENTRUM multi-vitamin. I take NAC and Bromeline (Made from Pineapple). There is no reason at all that I should be catching this.  But clearly, I have it again.

The last time, I waited before taking Augmentin, and by waiting, this thing knocked me down but good, with a 102.1 fever around day 7 or 8.  Maybe I should take the hint and start taking it now?

ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH.

I don't do anything that would expose me to being sick.  OK, I go to the Supermarket, or to the local Walmart if I need something.  But I'm not in close contact with people in general.  Not in big crowds up here in PA.   I don't get why I'm getting sick again.

Very frustrating.

Oh, and I did NOT get any of those phony COVID Vaccines, so my immune system is not compromised at all.

UPDATE, SATURDAY 8:04 AM EST --

Last night when I got off my radio show, my fever had spiked to 101 degrees.   I took one Amoxicillin Clauvenate 875 mg antibiotic pill and went directly to bed.

Tossed and turned a lot.  Developed a cough, but it subsided enough to sleep.

Woke up this morning, NO FEVER!   98.9 degrees.

STILL HAVE SOME COUGHING.

Took another Amoxicillin Clauvenate 875mg  at 8:00 this morning.  Should have waited until 10:00 but took it two hours early.

This is precisely how it went the last time I got sick, and after a single day of no fever back then, I got walloped on day 7 with a fever of 102.1 which literally knocked me down.

I don't know if this is the same bug as last time, it sure feels like it and the symptoms are almost identical.

But for now, no fever and I'm working . . . .

SATURDAY NIGHT 7:00 PM --

Fever is coming back.  Took another Amoxicillin Clav. 875mg.   I'm going to bed.  VERY tired.
